Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python).
  • 2 years of experience building products or features that utilize machine learning models through the full cycle of data collection, model development, and deployment.
  • 2 years of experience managing a team.
  • Experience with innovative ideas and execution.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Build reliable and scalable infrastructure and APIs to allow external and internal developers to leverage Google AI models and solutions.
  • Leverage Google AI Studio for development and experimentation using the Gemini API.
  • Understand developers of Large Language Models based applications and shape the tools and interfaces to allow them to build their solutions.
  • Build production-scale features to productionize new generative AI technical stack while also designing and building available and low latency online serving systems for first-party AI models.
  • Collaborate with partners product areas/teams to advance LLM techniques, and realize product impact.
