Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead and manage a team of NLP engineers and scientists.
• Design and develop innovative NLP solutions for various business problems.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in NLP research and implement them into projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., data engineering, product management) to ensure successful NLP integration.
• Oversee the data pipeline for NLP projects, ensuring data quality and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain NLP models for various tasks (e.g., text classification, sentiment analysis, machine translation).
• Develop NLP models for various languages
• Evaluate and monitor the performance of NLP models, iterating to improve accuracy and robustness.
• Document and share NLP knowledge within the team and broader organization.
• Identify and prioritize new NLP use cases within the company.
• Recruit, interview, and hire talented NLP engineers and scientists.
• Compelling real world experience related to machine learning OR Artificial intelligence related to Natural language processing and or Computational linguistics
• Fine tune large language models for specific Gen AI tasks
• Test and evaluate machine learning models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop process pipelines for Gen AI use cases
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of machine learning or Artificial intelligence

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Machine Learning & NLP

MUST HAVE SKILLS 

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Natural Language Processing.
• Solid experience with Python programming languages
• Strong understanding of various NLP techniques (deep learning, machine learning, statistical methods, LLMs).
• Experience with NLP frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, NLTK).
• Must be able to understand the NLP aspects involved in various non-English languages and implement
• Able to understand the different NLP Models architecture and break the model and segregate it into different parts (e.g encoding, other weights, decoding)
• Able to understand the various encoding decoding layers in models like FLAN T5, BERT
• Must have the ability to scale the application for millions of requests
• Application of machine learning algorithms and techniques for natural language processing.

OTHER SKILLS WE’D APPRECIATE

• Application of Reinforcement learning with human feedback (RHLF) to a model
• Good to have skills with big data management tools, Node.js and scripting
• Good knowledge on content categorization algorithms
• Research, design and development of natural language processing algorithms

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

• Graduate in Engineering OR Masters in Computer Applications
