Position Summary:

The Senior Manager for Sales Enablement & Tools lead the team responsible for introducing and maintaining our sales tools & processes. This role will oversee the development, implementation, and utilization of our sales tools & processes in partnership with IT, global Marketing, Sales and Commercial Excellence. Currently tooling is limited to SFDC, but this is expected to expand to CPQ and other sales tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Sales enablement & tools roadmap which aligns with Commercial strategy.
  • Introduce/Roadmap best practices, new tools and technology to accelerate sales team success (examples: digital infrastructure to AI, machine learning)
  • Identify, resource and lead execution of roadmap projects (examples: SFDC enhancements, CPQ roll out)
  • Establish business reporting and analytics to monitor and drive tool utilization.
  • Keep up to date with latest sales tool developments and leverage best practices.
  • Contributing member of the sales tool Steering Committees
  • Oversee projects with a focus of enhancing sales effectiveness in commercial operations.
  • Develop and implement governance policies, procedures & processes to ensure data is defined and maintained effectively.
  • Partner with IT team to deliver sales tool functionality which is consistent with the business needs.
  • Establish training and support tools to facilitate effective sales tool utilization by the user community.
  • Develop direct team through coaching & mentoring.

Required Criteria:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in management or supervisory positions.
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM tools (preferably SalesForce.com)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and project management skills.
  • Adept at successfully driving cross functional projects to completion, working across geographic boundaries, overcoming organizational resistance, and influencing without authority.
  • Experienced at identifying and introducing new solutions, including developing and presenting roadmaps.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • SFDC certifications
  • Knowledge and experience working in SAP, and web-based configuration tools.
