We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI Governance Lead to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. As the AI Governance Lead, you will play a vital role in the successful implementation and governance of our artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, ensuring ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to define AI strategy, goals, and objectives aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Assess and prioritize AI use cases based on their potential impact and feasibility.
  • Develop implementation plans and roadmaps, considering resource requirements, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Oversee the implementation of AI projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including data scientists, engineers, and business partners, to ensure the successful implementation of AI projects.
  • Establish governance frameworks and policies to ensure ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and team members to comprehend their needs, recognize AI possibilities, and address any concerns.
  • Establish measurable goals and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of AI initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate AI performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in AI implementation, project management, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of AI technologies, methodologies, and proven approaches.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks related to AI governance and compliance.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects and diverse groups of individuals simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate and effectively engage with a wide range of individuals.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify potential business opportunities and assess AI performance.

Familiarity with emerging trends and developments in AI implementation and governance.
