Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with SAP ERP, BW/BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, SQL.
• Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing software systems, or security software development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

About the job

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

In this role, you will innovate, design and build access and identity governance and management, architect and implement large-scale hot data archival capabilities and other engineering efforts. You will be influencing Governance, Risk and Compliance aspects of Finance Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build internal solutions, with custom front-end and back-end services with minimal assistance, and identify processes and solutions to ensure controls compliance can be enforced and monitored.
• Help design, build, and deploy internal business applications to support Google’s technology lifecycle, collaboration and spaces, service delivery management, and data and business intelligence.
• Work in an agile development environment making regular incremental progress.
• Conduct and oversee testing of application modules to ensure application meets specifications and collaborate with analysts and business process owners to help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Execute and finish tasks towards a larger goal with minimal assistance from executive team members. Author design documents and present design reviews. Ensure code is tested using defined test frameworks.
