WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

  • Advanced Machine Learning Business Rules Development. You bring prior experience with implementing business layer transformation engines that allow end users to configure and execute hundreds of data driven rules to determine next best action.
  • Build Products. You will design, architect, implement and deploy high-performing, configurable and scalable code in an agile methodology.
  • Own and Manage Projects. You will identify, design, develop, and implement advanced business layer transformation projects. You will implement process to continuously detect gaps or errors and remedy to ensure high quality.
  • Limitless Possibilities. You will continue learning and discovering new ways to leverage ADP data to create new products and services and find more insights. You are passionate about learning and applying new techniques within data science that leads to innovations.
  • Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be checking in with a team in India one minute, meeting with leadership to review initiatives for the coming quarter later and tomorrow handling a few ad hoc requests from your peers in other departments.
  • Collaboration and Communication. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, listening to needs, then finding and sharing solutions. You’re comfortable and skilled at presenting to both peers and leadership on your projects and findings.
  • You have 8-12 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You will have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent.
  • In-depth understanding of Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch
  • Advanced knowledge and prior experience in SQL is required. Experience with a variety of database systems both SQL and no SQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB would give greater comfort in the role.
  • Ability to understand high level technical and business requirements and turn them into working software that uses industry standard patterns and is performant, configurable, scalable, reliable and secure.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with building cross-application integrations using RESTful APIs, OpenAPI, OAuth & OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with databricks or similar technologies is a must.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Tableau or other visualization
  • Hands on experience using python machine learning libraries like Sklearn, Matplotlib, Seaborn to build machine learning models such as XGBoost, Random Forest, Logistic Regression etc.
  • Experience working with AWS services for application delivery including Elastic Container Services, Lambda, Aurora
  • Experience of using NoSQL databases to create and query data
  • Prior experience in working on models in Sales/Marketing domain

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions.
