Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing solutions and tools across the plants, understanding needs, and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Define the strategy and multi-year plan for digital technology (DT) global manufacturing solutions.
  • Develop the DT global roadmap for manufacturing solutions.
  • Effectively communicate project status, issues, budget, and risks to leadership and various organizational levels.
  • Drive the strategic deployment, adoption, and utilization of solutions, advocating for standards.
  • Contribute to the simplification of the application landscape.
  • Support the rollout of DT programs across all domains.
  • Identify opportunities and collaborate on developing solutions to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) in partnership with global DT.
  • Act as a Digital change agent, identifying and understanding capabilities at the company level and promoting re-use of available solutions, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure smooth operations of existing solutions with a focus on end-to-end issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with DT processes, standards, and strategy.

Requirements

  • Master's in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Manufacturing, including factory value stream processes, Planning, Sourcing & Logistics
  • Proven product/project management experience, preferably in Manufacturing projects/programs, demonstrating proficiency in Solution Architecture, data architecture, software development, and GSCM operations.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks, such as SCRUM, and the ability to coach and mentor the GSCM DT organization.
  • Awareness of capabilities in new technologies (AI, ML, IIoT, VR, AR, Big Data, etc.).
  • Ability to translate obscure and ambiguous requirements and outcomes into a clear digital product strategy, enhancing value creation for the business.
  • Experience in defining, implementing, and using shop floor IT tools (i.e., Manufacturing Execution System, Quality, ERP, PLM, MRP, EAM), Lean Principles.
  • Results-oriented and outcome-focused mindset, demonstrated through proactive evangelism of new technology, trend prediction, external focus, and influence on both business and DT.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use expertise and knowledge to challenge the status quo, defining a more strategic approach and defending that position.
  • Fluent in English.
  • MBA preferred.
