Job Description

This role plays a vital part in the GE Vernova Global Sourcing Analytics & Systems team, which spans 12 sub-businesses and an annual spend of $18B. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and optimize Sourcing Analytics processes and methods that enable Businesses and Category Management teams to efficiently focus on business growth. This role will lead the efforts of building advanced analytical capabilities and providing the analysis of spend, savings, cash, and delivery as per the Business requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement analytics automation strategies and plan

• Partner with Digital team to develop and enhance the GE Vernova Data platform to assure the availability, completeness, standardization, and accuracy of the data from multiple ERPs and various systems and tools

• Lead the efforts of developing GE Vernova Sourcing Taxonomy structure and a sustainable Commodity Classification process to assure 95% of spend are classified as per Taxonomy structure

• Leverage Advanced Analytics (DS, ML) to develop and improve the analytical models, dashboards and reports to drive the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Cash (SQDCC) performances

• Support Commodity Leaders on market price analysis, should-cost analysis, risk analysis and supplier performance scorecard

• Drive and improve the Master Data Management solutions to assure the consistency and accuracy of foundational data, including Business Unit structure, supplier attributes, controllable/non-controllable spend and country/region

• Apply and implement LEAN principles to foster user/requestor engagement and adoption.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Significant experience in Data Analytics, Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, or equivalent consulting experiences

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experiences on Advance Analytics (SQL, Python, Data science, Machine Learning, Tableau development, etc.)

• Demonstrated ability in leading large scale organizational, process, and culture change

• Significant experience comparable to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)

• MBA or bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, IT or equivalent knowledge or experience

• Strong collaborative mindset in working across functional areas

• Strong experience in Sourcing and Procurement processes and system integration projects

• Strong Project Management skills

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Strong track record for implementing change and delivering results

• Comfortable with a broad range of research tools and technologies
