The Edison Works Avionics Engineering team is responsible for the pursuit and execution of business related to advanced classified military platforms, specifically in the new product and research and development areas. As a Advanced Lead Engineer- Systems Engineering in this organization, you will be responsible for the technical execution of multiple advanced cutting edge technology programs.
This role requires the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance. Therefore, this posting is only for US citizens. Note, GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
Role Summary/Purpose
The Edison Works (EW) Emerging Technologies Team focuses on early-stage pursuits and new technology introduction (NTI) in the areas of sensing, autonomy, artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), cybersecurity, and advanced edge hardware. As a Systems Engineer in this organization, you will work closely with peers both in Emerging Technologies and the broader Avionics organizations to define, develop, and prototype these new technologies.
