Job Description

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

  • Build, optimize, and deploy machine learning models to support identity resolution and ads attribution
  • Create models which help drive value for users, advertisers, and our company
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on machine learning strategies to meet company objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology in machine learning and apply this knowledge to tackle complex problems in innovative ways
  • Perform code reviews and ensure exceptional code quality
  • Build robust, lasting, and scalable products
  • Iterate quickly without compromising quality

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of machine learning approaches and algorithms
  • Strong computer science fundamentals
  • Skilled with unsupervised learning for unlabeled data
  • Able to prioritize duties and work well on your own
  • Ability to work with both internal and external partners
  • Skilled at solving open ambiguous problems
  • Strong collaboration, leadership, and mentorship skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years machine learning experience in industry
  • Experience building and applying machine learning models to one of the following areas: ads attribution, identity, measurement, or privacy-preserving ML

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience working with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe2, PyTorch, Spark ML, scikit-learn, or related frameworks
  • Experience working on machine learning infrastructure and systems

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
