Our software product PAS-X Savvy helps customers to accelerate their time to market for new product scale-up from laboratory scale to commercial production. It offers a comprehensive spectrum spanning from data management and explorative data analysis to latest data science methods such as enhanced multivariate analysis and artificial intelligence, developed by a dedicated and experienced product team.

Your role in our team

  • Be at the forefront of tackling industry challenges by leveraging your bioprocess data analytics expertise
  • Engage with diverse range of professionals, encompassing, process scientists, manufacturing heads, process development leaders, chief digital officers and many more - understand their needs and challenges, and present tailored solutions using our software
  • Develop a deep understanding of our bioprocess software and its applications in pharmaceutical engineering
  • Having the opportunity to elevate your skills by engaging closely with our in-house data science and digital transformation experts
  • Collaborate with the product development team to stay updated on software features and improvements
  • Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions for potential clients
  • Hold workshops on data analytics in biopharma (not mandatory)
  • Act as a technical consultant during the sales process, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities, focusing on lead generation and successfully closing sales
  • Organize client on-site visits
  • Liaise with existing customers
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions, conferences and meetings

Your profile

Required skills:

  • You possess a Master’s degree in biotechnology, bioprocess engineering, systems process engineering or pharmaceutical sciences
  • You should possess a minimum 3 years of experience and knowledge in bioprocess development, CMC process understanding, bioprocess validation, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) or manufacturing
  • You are passionate about data science and software, recognizing that data is the key to effectively advancing bioprocessing and achieving exceptional bioproduct quality
  • You see sales as your next development step in your career and are ready to convince customers with your technical expertise on above mentioned values
  • You are comfortable working in a fast growing and paced environment
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English and proficient German language skills is a mandatory requirement; Any additional language(s) is considered an advantage
  • Ability to travel, potentially 40-50% of the time

Preferred skills:

  • A basic understanding of the sales business processes is a plus
  • Previous experience in a technical sales or consulting role
  • You have experience with customer relation management systems (e.g. salesforce)
  • Basic understanding of data analysis of pharmaceutical processes (e.g. statistical time series analysis, explorative data analysis, statistical analysis, mechanistic modeling of fermentation and chromatography steps)
