Job Description
The Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic software testing professional with 5-7 years of experience in Data testing .Candidate with experience on working in offshoring model is preferred.
Role Responsibilities
80% of Time Functional Responsibilities
- Understanding the non-functional requirements from business.
- Identify and bugs and report it with correct severity
- Ensure >85% of bug acceptance
- Familiarity of working in Agile teams
- Provide the test execution report to stakeholders.
- Define the correct test scope for the test activity
- 20% of Time Operational Responsibilities
- Manage stakeholders from different country & time zones
- Flexibility to work occasional late hours
Must - have technical skills and experience
- Experience in BI Testing
- Experience in Data Testing
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts
- Create SIT test cases/test data and perform Test execution
- Validates data by running queries in the database and verify that the results match the expectations
- Analyzes and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root cause of defects, logs the defects in HP Quality Center/ALM and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects
- Works closely with software development team (Business Analysts, Developers & other testers) to ensure timely and effective testing effort
- Writing queries to extract data for test case data comparison
- Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests suites

- Automation testing, GCP certification
- ISTQB certification
- Microservices, API Integration testing
