About The Team

As a full time member of Noah Medical’s Robotics team, you will take ownership in developing control algorithms and C++ product software for the next generation of medical robots. You will collaborate with fellow robotics, system software, and clinical engineers on solving some of the most challenging problems in medical technology today. By utilizing first-principle thinking, a growth mindset, and a desire to improve the state of medical technology, you will develop products that address growing endoluminal clinical needs.

A Day In The Life Of Our Sr. Robotics and Controls Engineer

  • Lead the design of control algorithms
  • Lead the design and implementation of motion control algorithms in C++
  • Understand and develop risk assessments for medical robotics
  • Develop product specifications, systems & software requirements, and test methods
  • Evaluate algorithms in both inanimate and animal models
  • Collaborate with other engineers and internal customers to develop features that meet clinical needs

About You

  • MS plus 4 years of experience in the medical robotics industry, or PhD plus 2 years, is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the commercialization of medical robots is a plus.
  • Thorough theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in the kinematics and control of serial manipulators
  • Experience in developing C++ in an industry setting. Experience in Python, and Matlab is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to concisely present highly technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work independently with the determination to get through challenging problems.

$136,000 - $204,000 a year

Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.
