Responsibilities:

• Work with internal and external users to define and iterate feature requirements.
• Research, prototype, iterate algorithmic solutions to medical imaging segmentation, registration and reconstruction problems for surgical planning and navigation.
• Contribute high quality implementations to medical products that are safe and effective.
• Support testing and documentation.
• Roles and responsibilities may differ according to the level of the candidate.

Requirements:

• Passion to work on life changing applications and flexibility in contributing to a team.
• MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Radiology or other related programs.
• Solid foundation on mathematics and analytical skills.
• Deep understanding of and hands-on experience in state-of-the-art (medical) image analysis algorithms.
• Deep understanding of and hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Hands-on experience in one or more areas: semantic image segmentation, 3d image segmentation, medical image registration, image reconstruction, graph cut, level-set, or computer vision.
• Strong development skills using C++, C# and/or Python (and the desire to learn new techniques and tools).
• Object Oriented Programming understanding and experience.
• Familiarity with tools such as ITK, VTK, OpenCV, Deep Learning frameworks such as pytorch or TensorFlow.
• 3+ years of experience in relevant algorithm development.
• Experience with lung anatomy and pulmonary clinical application is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge with computer vision, navigation and sensor fusion is a plus.
• Experience working on medical device is a plus.

$165,000 - $247,000 a year

Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan. Additional details on the compensation package and employee benefits offerings will be provided to candidates during the interview process.
