We are seeking a significant contributor to the core technology of a truly image guided robotic system.

Responsibilities:

• Work with users and a well-established team to understand clinical needs and invent innovative image-guided intervention solutions.
• Research, prototype, iterate algorithmic solutions to computer vision and medical imaging problems to establish industry leadership.
• Contribute high quality software to create medical products that are safe and effective.
• Perform engineering evaluation, support clinical testing and draft technical / regulatory documentation.

Requirements:

• A passion to applying cutting-edge technologies to solve medical problems.
• MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Robotics, Radiology or other related programs.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Solid foundation on mathematics and analytical skills.
• Strong object oriented software development skills using C++ and experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python).
• Extensive hands-on algorithm development experience in at least two of the following areas: image processing, medical imaging, image reconstruction, geometric computer vision and/or sensor fusion.
• Experience in x-ray imaging, CBCT reconstruction, image-guided intervention systems, machine learning or deep learning.
• Experience with algorithm acceleration and CUDA is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in relevant algorithm development.
• Industry experience in commercializing relevant algorithms is preferred.

$165,000 - $247,000 a year

Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonuses, stock and employee benefits including but not limited to PTO, paid holidays, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life & disability insurance and a 401k plan. Additional details on the compensation package and employee benefits offerings will be provided to candidates during the interview process.
