The Generative AI Technology team at Point72 is a group of skilled professionals who are responsible for conceptualizing and developing, the firm's Generative AI efforts. The team works closely with business stakeholders, the Tech Innovation team, and development teams across Technology to deploy cutting-edge AI technology that has the ability to transform the firm’s operations.

What you’ll do

As a Cloud Support Specialist, you work on cloud infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms while collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot issues and promote best practices. You'll also be responsible for assisting with the maintenance of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines, monitoring cloud infrastructure, and staying updated on industry trends to continuously improve support processes and systems. Specifically, you will:

• Provide support for cloud infrastructure solutions across GCP, Azure, and AWS platforms, utilizing your knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to troubleshoot issues and promote seamless integration of security controls and best practices
• Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub, leveraging automation and IaC principles
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security issues, escalating as necessary.
• Help develop and maintain documentation on cloud infrastructure, security policies, and procedures to assist users and enhance support processes
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend improvements to existing support processes and systems

What’s required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in cloud support or operations
• Experience with system monitoring and log analysis tools (LogicMonitor/Datadog/ELK) for debugging, triage, and proactive visibility into environment health
• Basic understanding of cloud security best practices, tools, and frameworks
• Familiarity with Terraform for IaC and principles of DevOps methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitHub
• Knowledge of deploying and managing Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, for automation and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively resolve issues and coordinate with teams
• Experience with on-premises infrastructure is beneficial
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Developer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are a plus

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$200,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
