Job Description

Responsibilities

Will be responsible for designing and implementing data workflows from multiple inputs supporting U.S. Army in Aviation Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) team to identify opportunities for improvement with components, processes, and policies.

• Responsible for developing custom workflows, preparing, blending, conforming, and analyzing data from multiple sources, including flat files, database connections, API’s Control migrations of database instance changes, schema changes, and essential reference/configuration data changes through the development life cycle.
• Develop standards to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security, and performance.
• Assist in planning with the Application Developers and System Administrators to ensure that any new product usage or release upgrade takes place with minimal impact.
• Enforce and maintain database constraints to ensure integrity of the database.
• Administer all database objects, including tables, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
• Assist with impact analysis of any changes made to the database.
• Troubleshoot issues regarding the databases, applications, and development tools.
• Responsible for the physical design of the database.
• Provide project management with strategic database direction options and capabilities.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL coding as needed to special reports, requests for special analysis, data error correction.
• Responsible for fine tuning Python machine learning models, utilizing scikit-learn and Pandas

Qualifications

Required Experience/Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong SQL experience and ability to write complex queries
• Good understanding of data modelling concepts and data analysis
• Experience in developing models, deploying machine learning models in production
• Experience in developing apps using Python programming language
• Expertise in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Natural Language processing
• Expertise in python data processing libraries
• Knowledge of visualization and Tableau best practices
• Experience in design, development and deployment of Tableau Dashboards and data workflows using Alteryx
• Experience with complex Tableau concepts required in meeting difficult client requirements and building advanced visualizations
• Power BI
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as, AWS, Azure
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance with an investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance. DoD clearance eligibility requires citizenship.
