Job Description

BigBear.ai is seeking an Application Developer to will be responsible for developing new applications and toolsets to help the customer to automate some of their internal tracking tools and information gathering processes and modernize the current environment to enable quicker delivery of mission information, enhance operations, and improve situational awareness.

This position will sit on site with a customer in Maryland and offer 1-2 days a week of telework

What you will do

• This team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the Outage Management Ecosystem (OME). The OME provides a suite of products that automate, integrate, standardize, and normalize the processes for data handling and reporting of Capabilities Events (i.e.: Incidents, Changes, Problems, Metrics, etc.). OME is designed to scale for an unlimited number of users and data without negatively impacting performance, accessibility, security, reliability, and sustainability.

What you need to have

• Bachelor's Degree and 12 to 15 years of experience; Master's Degree and 10 to 13 years of experience; PhD and 7 to 9 years of experience (in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, 6 additional years of relevant experience)
• Clearance: Must Possess and Maintain a TS with Polygraph Clearance

Experience with several of the following:

• • AWS
  • Full-stack experience (good understanding of how the front-end and back-end work together)
  • Micro-service-oriented architecture
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (specifically cluster development, management, and monitoring)
  • Authoring experience with Helm (creating & deploying)
  • Docker & associated technologies (e.g., docker compose).
