Job Description

BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Dev/MLOps Engineer to support on of our customer’s research areas.

This position will be based out of Laurel and will report on-site daily (no remote flexibility).

Our customer requires research, exploration, and development of adaptive cyber defense prototype systems. This research builds upon a fused and contextualized understanding of diverse cyber event data to reason dynamically about the state of the system, plan and execute defensive actions, and establish models for understanding and predicting adversary behavior.

What you will do

• Provide software engineering support to implement and manage GPU-enabled data science software stacks and cybersecurity data flows
• Refactor software solutions based on customer needs and research priorities and integrate, test, and refine AI and machine learning-based cybersecurity software

What you need to have

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 14 years of relevant experience

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS with Polygraph
• Proficiency with Python and expereice using Python-based data science and machine learning software packages (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and pandas)

What we'd like you to have

• Experience in data science, DevOps/MLOps, and integration of prototypes into modern compute environments (GPU-enabled and distributed cloud environments
• Experienced with the Elastic Stack and/or other data management platforms
