Job Description
Job Purpose and Impact
The agriculture supply chain applied scientist will develop computational tools, methodologies and provide deep customer insights. With a blend of self-learning aptitude and hands on experience in Statistics and Machine Learning, you'll partner with internal stakeholders to develop proof of concept for innovate computation driven business ideas. In this position, you'll demonstrate familiarity with analytical concepts, expert programing skills with a combination of statistics, geospatial analytics, and machine learning.
Key Accountabilities
- Scripting from scratch using Python/R to discover customer insights.
- Facilitate modeling, and full stack MLOps for insight generation.
- Respond to complex ad-hoc analysis requests.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision.
- Regular presentation of results to team members.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS, ECE, Statistics, or any other quantitative sciences with 3+ years of industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in handling and analyzing geospatial and time series data.
- Prior experience in hypothesis testing.
- Prior experience in building ML models.
