Join a high performing Cloud Engineering team supporting our Commodities and Global Markets business group and work with a multitude of technology teams and business stakeholders to solve problems and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

What role will you play?

You will use your Golang or Python development skills to create APIs, platforms and services are scalable, well-documented, reliable, and maintainable. You will be building out, automating, and supporting the next generation of cloud control planes and security services. You will combine problem solving skills with back-end development to take a proactive approach in building fault-tolerant systems, improving observability/monitoring/alerting capabilities, automating tasks and build tools.

In the Cloud Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to impact the Commodities and Global Markets division within Macquarie front to back, building relationships with a motivated and agile global technology community.

What you offer

• 5-10+ Software development experience, and ability to code using Python or Golang
• Hands on experience with Cloud technologies, in particular with AWS-based platforms and infrastructure as code technologies
• Expertise with containers and Kubernetes
