Job Description

By connecting to existing robots, it can autonomously judge the situation and perform tasks. It was the world's first commercially available industrial intelligent robot. Currently, it is being introduced by many logistics and manufacturing companies in Japan to solve the social issue of labor shortage.

As a product development engineer , you will be involved in the development of new products for our company's core product, the Mujin controller (industrial PC). In order to sell globally, you will also be responsible for complying with regulations for electronic products in each country in accordance with ISO/IEC.

Job details

• Organizing and defining new product development requirements
• Prototype manufacturing and test evaluation management
• We request multiple suppliers to manufacture prototypes, test them in-house, and manage prototype functional evaluation and testing. Associated supplier selection and evaluation
• Mass production operations and process construction. After passing the prototype, we improve DFM (Design for Manufacturability) for mass production, and provide design verification and validation support.
• ODM/OEM factory manufacturing process validation, quality assurance confirmation and factory audit
• Global electronic product compliance support
• Creation of product instruction manuals
• Legal review support for contracts

Application qualifications/required conditions

• Those with a bachelor's degree in engineering or higher
• 5+ years of experience in electronic product design or as a product manager
• 3+ years of supplier procurement, management and evaluation experience
• Business level Japanese ability
• Business level English proficiency

Welcome conditions

• 2 years or more of practical experience in obtaining ISO/IEC/JISC certification
• Skills to decipher Altium, Quadcept, or KiCad
• Practical experience in PCB design
