Job Description

This position will be assigned to our company's Engineering Project Management Team (EPM).

The EPM team will be responsible for implementing solutions for AGV (automated guided vehicles), which is one of our core businesses. Furthermore, we are not only responsible for AGVs alone, but also for projects involving complete automation using robots.

As a member of the EPM team, you will propose, implement, and project manage a logistics efficiency system that combines Mujin's robot controller and foreign-made AGVs.

Job details

• Examining the specifications of a material handling system with AGV as the core, and further examining the specifications of a logistics automation system that compounds Mujin robotics solutions and equipment from multiple manufacturers.
• Selection and determination of hardware and software specifications that take into consideration operations
• Project management involved in project management, execution, and delivery
• Separating functions between in-house system and customer software and determining interface specifications

Mandatory requirements

• Experience in planning, designing, and implementing system automation (logistics/production equipment) by linking multiple IoT devices
• Practical experience and knowledge of project management methods (WBS, issue management, risk management, etc.)
• Japanese: Business level.
• English: Reading and writing fluency level. Experience using English when checking emails and specifications

• Experience designing logistics flows and operational flows at distribution centers, factories, etc.
• Experience in managing projects that introduce overseas systems into Japan (the reverse is also possible)
• Experience in planning equipment introduction with consideration for on-site implementation
• Experience drawing layout drawings with 2D CAD
• Analysis of client's arrival/shipment data, proposal taking into account the requested quantity (analysis using DB)
