Are you interested in protecting the Airbnb community from malicious bots? Do you have an adversarial mindset? Do you have a blend of quantitative, CS, and ML skills? If so, join us at Airbnb! We are founding a new Anti-Bots Engineering team and are looking for a strong technical leader who is motivated by continuously evolving our capabilities to detect and disrupt attackers. This leader will get involved with researching attack patterns, develop models to identify traffic which matches these patterns, and partner with various teams to implement interventions against these attackers.
Successful candidates for this team will be autonomous, have a bias toward action, and enjoy diving deep into data. The ideal candidate will have a background in a quantitative field as well as ML. The candidate will also have experience manipulating & analyzing large data.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
Pay Range: $235,000—$300,000 USD
