Work Location: Contractor location, North Charleston SC

Job Summary: Provide technical project management of advanced 5G Wireless and Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Autonomous Systems projects sponsored by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and other agencies and conducted by Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, Charleston SC. Perform project management, financial management, security management, training support, and personnel management of a diverse Prime and Subcontractor team. Provide the Program Manager and Government sponsor with high-level project progress and milestones. Interface with external and internal team contractors and subcontractors in project execution. Ensure contractual compliance and enforce high quality standards for all project deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

• Clearance: Active DoD TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or other technical field. Non-technical BA or BS degree accepted if the candidate has significant technical project work experience.
• Experience: Fifteen (15) years of project and personnel leadership experience, including a minimum of eight (8) years of direct work experience as a manager of DoD projects, to include: supervising project personnel, scheduling work, and supervising security controls and measures.
• Experience managing complex projects involving 5G, edge computing technology, AI, and autonomous systems.
• Experience with 4G LTE and/or 5G NR RAN
• Technical understanding of sensor mobile edge computing, cloud/fog/edge, IoT
• Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and remote sensing
• Knowledge of 5G and other IT system architectures, development, testing, operations, maintenance, and Information Assurance (IA).
• Agile methodologies / SW development project experience
• Network+ / Security+ (or other DoD 8570 baseline certifications)

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with NIWC and/or DARPA projects.
• Experience with procurement of goods and services under Federal contracts.
• PMI® Project Management Professional (PMP®) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification.
• SCRUM Master or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)
• Knowledge of 3GPP and O-RAN architecture
• Experience with Deep Learning / Computer Vision
