The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) group at Fractal Analytics is actively involved in helping Fortune 500 companies by enabling them to discover how they can leverage their data using advanced and sophisticated AI/ML algorithms for which we are looking for Data Scientists with the capability to work on independent statistical and machine learning research/ projects. Design & Behavioral Science - Lead Manager

India: Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurgaon

Your purpose, as a Design Research and Strategy specialist within the Dimension team, is to apply Human Centered Design in strategic ways and in collaboration with a cross-functional team, to help Fortune 250 organizations tackle their most complex challenges.

These challenges may be found within business strategy to corporate strategy, consumer strategy, innovation, and futureproofing.

You will take ownership of running programs across all three key activities mentioned above and as an early team member creating a new way of problem solving at Fractal, proving its efficacy, and taking it to market successfully.

The skills that will help you succeed in this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Direct human-centered design & behavioral science in a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, designers, behavioral scientists & consultants to achieve strategic goals for the team, organization & our clients 

• Client Partner: Engage deeply with senior client stakeholders, translating their needs into actionable insights, and develop roadmaps to establish new capabilities (and grow established ones)
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interact regularly with research teams, product managers, and other internal & external partners; promote thought leadership; build trust to independently lead Fractal projects in & outside the Dimension team 

• Strategic Design & Development: Spearhead the end-to-end development of strategic portfolio solutions with key milestones (ex. Framing, workshops, ideation, business case, feature prioritization..)

• Innovation with Analytics, AI: Evolve and refine Dimension team analytics solutions; hands-on building of new toolkits, playbooks, solutions & programs; Represent Fractal with a strong understanding & focus on the intersection of AI, Engineering, & Design

• Project Management: Leverage human-centered design (double-diamond meets agile processes) and ensure efficient project progression, prioritizing client satisfaction 

• Sales Support: Engage in pre-sales & business development efforts across industries and accounts, discerning opportunities and responding to RFPs
• Cross-domain, geography & industry: Ability to onboard & deep-dive quickly into new problems, contexts, industries; able to cross-pollinate knowledge & expertise between domains

Skills, Qualifications & Mindset:

• Proven experience (7+ years) and leadership qualities for strategic design, behavioral science, and research teams in a client facing role
• Expertise in directing & executing end-to-end enterprise & end-consumer research, strategy, design & development 
• Proactive, confident, and adaptable in a demanding consulting environment
• Working with Agility, dealing with ambiguity, and desire, openness to building expertise in new disciplines are key to succeeding in this role
• Proficiency with Mural, Figma, Canva, Adobe, Digital Research Platforms (ex. D-scout, Typeform, UserTesting.com)
• Demonstrated track record of leading strategic engagements and consistently achieving or exceeding goals.
