Execution excellence:

We are recruiting an AI Research Scientist to join our newly established AI Research Lab

As a Head of AI research lab, you will direct the application of sophisticated quantitative expertise in advanced mathematical fields to develop innovative data science solutions. The role will drive the research of foundational and ground breaking techniques to manipulate, and process structured and unstructured data, to develop and apply advanced modeling algorithms (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, NLP, image analysis, graph theory, and more)

Your main job level will be AI sophistication through research and publishing research outcomes in prestigious papers and conferences and the creation of IP’s.

Job Responsibilities:

• A hands-on, deeply technical leader, who pays attention to detail, and knows how to effectively guide the team to achieve high-quality, timely results.
• Should be able to create research agenda for AI and Data Science, targeted towards creating cutting-edge futuristic AI techniques & algorithms.
• Excellent cross-functional skills for collaborating with Domain Experts, Client Executives, AI, and Behavioural Scientists
• Lead from the front as a hands-on subject matter expert, architecting and crafting scalable solutions.
• Oversee model training and optimization.
• Inform and deliver ambitious product roadmaps to accelerate growth.
• Stay current with AI research and technologies, evaluate their potential impact on our business, and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
• Collaborate with external academies and vendors to advance AI research.
• Should be able to lead a team of 10 – 15 members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 to 15 years of professional experience in AI with a strong background in research.
• Should have evidence of having published papers and conferences.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision & Gen AI.
• Experience with cloud-based AI solutions such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to develop innovative AI solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of statistics and experience with machine learning algorithms/techniques.
• Strong hand on coding experience, you must love coding as part of your job.
• Advanced knowledge and proven experience with the standard data science languages: R and Python (Python preferred) and familiarity with database systems (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, graph).
• Understanding and familiarity with software development principles.

Education:

Degree in applied math, statistics, machine learning, operations research, computer science, engineering, physics, statistics, economics, computational sciences or a related quantitative field, PhD/ MS is preferred.
