Job Description

• Manage a team of Systems Architects
• Analyze internal & external customer requirements to come up system approach to achieve project goals. Apply lessons learned from previous projects as well as best practices from outside the automotive industry.
• Own the process to decompose stakeholder requirements into system requirements
• Design system architectures meeting stakeholder and system requirements
• Manage data collection efforts supporting algorithm development and testing
• Develop and execute functional test and KPI performance evaluation plans
• Work closely with counterparts across sites in meeting program deliverables on time with quality
• Support presentations and demonstrations to customers and other stakeholders
• Be passionate about creating and understanding new technologies and inspire others to do the same

Your Background

• Bachelors (Masters preferred) degree in a technical discipline (engineering, computer science, physics, or related field of study)
• 3+ Years of managing senior engineers/architects
• 5+ years of experience with requirements analysis and systems architecture
• 3+ years of experience with software development
• 2+ years of experience working in an Agile development team 
• Familiarity with system/software development processes (CI/CD) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience working with distributed systems communicating over messaging systems such as MQTT, TCP/IP, or UDP
• Familiarity with system modeling in SysML using tools such as Enterprise Architect
• Skilled in using DOORS, Polarian [preferable] or any other requirement management system
• Highly self-motivated and energetic
• A user-centric mindset to technology development
• Good negotiation and influencing skills – demonstrates ability to respond to changes in requirements, scheduling
• Good analytical, problem solving, interpersonal skills with an effective communication and presentation ability. English language proficiency is a must.
