Job Description

Do you have profound knowledge in software engineering with a focus on data analytics and data management. Are you excellent in programming with modern programming languages like python? Do you have a drive towards understanding complex data? Can you work self-motivated and in a team?

Your Role

Good perception is essential to extract the necessary information about the environment for future autonomous vehicles. Excellent control of our data is the foundation of our world-leading perception systems, which we deploy in cars around the globe.

To strengthen our team of engineers we are looking for candidates who have profound knowledge in modern programming languages like Python, Julia, C++ or Rust.

You have the spirit to bring software from requirements to prototype stadium and into final deployment. Along the way you pursue a structured approach with good documentation.

You are acquainted with modern software engineering concepts and able to work together in a team using version control systems like git.

A hands-on sprit in analyzing, visualizing, and organizing large and complex data with a drive towards deep understanding down to the sensor level and up to the semantic level.

Your Background

Required

• Master or Ph.D. in science, technology, engineering and mathematics or a related field
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• Profound knowledge in C++ and/or Rust
• Profound knowledge in a version control systems like git
• Experience in developing software as part of a team
• Excellent analytical skills and a good mathematical background with deep mathematical understanding
• Experience in working with large datasets, data visualization and analysis
• Good English language skills

Bonus

• Experience in machine learning
• Experience in the field of automotive or other real-time and embedded systems
• Autonomous driving or ADAS experience
• Experience with deep learning toolkits like Theano, Pytorch, Tensor Flow, Keras, etc.
• Familiarity with Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, and continuous integration tools
• Proficient German language skills
