RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define product features and functionality, and prioritize product roadmap.
  • Develop customer use cases, personas and scenarios and present solutions to clients
  • Work with Engineering teams to define product specifications and requirements.
  • Resolve day to day queries from development team based on knowledge of customer business
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in various platforms that will need to be integrated with the solution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Support, to deliver successful products.
  • Lead product development efforts from ideation to launch.
  • Ensure demonstration platforms are up to date and relevant to customer requirements
  • Ensure product documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Provide input to QA for creation of test plans and certification criteria. Assist and certify the UAT
  • Readiness to travel for short/long durations within North America and outside

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 12+ years’ experience in defining and managing core products or business applications, either through product management (strongly preferred) or equivalent activities.
  • Strong understanding of various Travel industry personas including booking, travel agents, Airport operations and Flight operations workflows and contact center agents.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience with product lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of cloud based systems that support Amadeus/ Sabre APIs for booking and Flight ops tools 
  • Good knowledge and understanding of software development and web technologies including JSON/XML and AI/ML, NLP
  • Experience in configuring products based on customer requirements
  • Ability to manage in a very fast paced environment with multiple high-level priorities
  • Enthusiastic, sees problems as opportunities, and proactively develops knowledge and skills needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Develop Go-to-market materials in partnership with product marketing teams
  • Experience in conducting workshops, consulting sessions for customers
  • Skilled in creating presentations and presenting to various levels within the organization and to customers
  • Managing communications and expectations with customers, sales and engineering teams

OTHER SKILLS 

  • Practical knowledge of agile/iterative development process preferred
  • Experience of working with teams across locations and time-zones
  • Knowledge of project management tools, such as Jira
  • Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
  • Experience of working with teams across locations and time-zones in global delivery model

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Computer Applications
  • MBA preferred
