What will you do in this role? Here are the responsibilities:

  • General responsibility - the analytical/quantitative part serving the compliance activity (eg: Know Your Customer, Anti Money Laundering), including the development and revision processes of the models, offering assistance in the evaluation and identification of the risk elements resulting from their application, including from the perspective of the way in which are integrated into the decision-making process, as necessary, to ensure that the functions and objectives of risk management are properly incorporated;
  • Provides support according to the allocation established by the Manager in the development process of various models/statistical analyses: going through the steps of re/development or calibration of a statistical model respecting the methodology defined at group level and involving the main partners within the critical stages of the processes impacted;
  • Participate, test and monitor the correct implementation of these models/rules in the production systems/platform; supports the recurrent process of monitoring their performance and functionality so that the optimal level defined in accordance with the bank's strategy is respected;
  •  Defines the need for information and requests or obtains the necessary data in order to carry out recurring or ad-hoc analyzes regarding the evolution of the credit/client portfolio or within specific segments of clients to ensure both the identification of those with good potential from the point of view of the related risks (eg: repayment, related to compliance) as well as the signaling of possible concentrations in high-risk segments;
  •  Analyzes and ensures data integrity and management, including but not limited to: extracting data from available databases (e.g. DWH), verifying them from a qualitative point of view and correspondence with the extraction requirements, mediates easy and partially independent access (e.g. through SAS/SQL, without IT intervention) to the information necessary for the own activity or that of the credit analysts, as well as their processing in accordance with the initial requests;
  •  It ensures efficiency and traceability by defining and reusing the scripts/methods that allow the rapid and qualitative provision of repetitive information in the future;
  •  Collaborates closely with Compliance/KYC departments to ensure efficient (timely and employing maximum automation/standardization) and accurate (correct and complete) capture/processing of required data;
  • Responsible for administrative tasks as they develop and are delegated to him (preparation of memos and presentations on certain topics, preparation of minutes, etc.);
  • Fulfills the requirements of the position in accordance with the requirements of the internal legislation and / or with the rules and regulations of the external legislation.

What is the profile we are looking for?

  • Education: University graduate, technical profile is an advantage (such as studies in Cybernetics, Mathematics, Finance, etc.);
  • Experience: at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar field, banking knowledge such as Kyc (Know Your Customer) and Compliance;
  • Computer use: MS Office (Word, Excel (VBA), Power Point) and knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python code; We want a person with technical skills, to do debugging, to understand IT concepts, database management;
  • Statistical requirements: you know the definitions, basic notions of statistics, method of calculation, interpretation; You have knowledge of tools, methods and models used in statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence; You are adept at handling large and complex data sets; You analyze and ensure data integrity and management, including but not limited to: extracting data from available databases (eg DWH), verifying them from a qualitative point of view and correspondence with extraction requirements, data cleaning;
  • A communicative, open, dynamic, analytical and proactive person with a desire to learn and inclined towards individual study;
  • Foreign language knowledge level: English spoken & written, fluent.
