Practice Area Profile

What You'll Do

You will join an expanding implementation team focused on proprietary BCG products which complement their consulting offerings.

Primary responsibilities include (and not limited to):

  • Analyzes data and data centric for product development/management purposes and client support work
  • Delivers ad-hoc requests from case or proposal teams
  • Manages existing products, databases, reports and other information/knowledge sets, ensuring data integrity and data usability
  • Builds easy-to-use and interactive analysis models
  • Prioritizing product quality and identify anomalies and inconsistencies in data
  • Embed security and risk guidelines into every aspect of performed tasks and analysis
  • Contributes towards documentation (e.g. of data, proposals) to enhance overall work output
  • Builds first connection points between products, combining different data sets for deeper insights for case/project work and product evolution

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working in a fast-paced team and international environment
  • Actively keeping up with industry trends, sources, and methods
  • Providing end-to-end support on the technical aspects of cases including deployment, data migration, system integration, configuration, troubleshooting and technology workarounds in case of tool bugs and limitations
  • Customizing and configuring tools per client needs by using MS SQL Server, developing data ETL processes, SQL scripts and basic knowledge of C# or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Designing and developing Executive dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI
  • Leading client IT and security considerations and audits through direct collaboration with client stakeholders
  • Performing data analytics modeling to define and implement databases and warehouses to store data for analytics using tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel
  • Working in the analytics solutions field or software implementation/support or infrastructure
  • Accuracy, strong attention to detail and outstanding customer service orientation
  • Entrepreneurial and development/product enhancement opportunities-seeking mindset

Non-technical skills

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and is able to operate autonomously in a structured manner
  • Previous experience of working in application support team(s), client delivery roles and global stakeholders/teams
  • Create and maintain technical design documentation

Technical skills

  • SQL (Intermediate/Advanced)
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming (i.e. C#)
  • Excel (Intermediate/Advanced)
  • Alteryx (Intermediate)
  • Tableau (Basic/Intermediate)

Education or Certifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Computer science, Data Science or related field

Work Experience

  • 1-3+ years of total experience, including internships with a focus on data management/analysis and/or product implementation
  • Previous experience of working in client delivery roles
  • Previous experience working with global stakeholders/teams
