Data scientists at vAuto are part of an energetic team that research world-class solutions which give our dealers the competitive advantage in the ever-evolving automotive marketplace. The team leads the development of advanced analytical models to solve our customers’ problems through innovative products and services as well as to inform internal business operations and strategy. They work closely with product, engineering, and our business stakeholders as the subject matter expert on the application mathematical modeling.

Throughout the summer, students will have the opportunity to complete challenging, business-critical projects alongside some of the most talented individuals in the automotive technology industry. The program will allow students to enhance their leadership skills through exposure to existing Cox leaders and the delivery and presentation of their research projects. We are looking for exceptionally ambitious, communicative, hands-on individuals who have the passion and skills to take our product offerings to the next level.
As a Data Science Intern, you will work in a collaborative team environment that encourages you to think critically and creatively about the scientific process. You will learn to apply your knowledge of modern statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze real-world data and provide actionable insights. You will aspire to use new technologies and challenge yourself to develop innovative solutions. You will work alongside data scientists, analysts, and product managers on a team where collaborative mentoring and solutioning is regularly practiced.
