Job Description

The Intelligent Automation Intern will be a resource on the CEI IA Center of Excellence team and will provide support on initiatives utilizing multiple technologies. They will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand business processes to define automation solutions. They will work with Analysts, Developers and business users on the definition, development and implementation of IA solutions. This program provides exposure to tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Robotic Desktop Automation (RDA), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Chatbots, Artificial Intelligence (AI), among others.

Projects/Assignments may include but are not limited to the following :

  • Participate in all phases of the RPA lifecycle from Discovery through Delivery, with exposure to Operations, Health Checks and Benefits Realization
  • Assist in various types of Discovery interviews, meetings or workshops with business unit subject matter experts to evaluate and define potential automation solutions.
  • Work with Analysts & Developers to document business processes, identify automation opportunities, define value proposition, and recommend approach/strategy.
  • Create, edit, revise and finalize life cycle deliverables such as requirements specifications and solution design documents.
  • Take training and shadow developers to become knowledgeable in UiPath technology to the level of a citizen developer.
  • Participate in the gathering and definition of new use cases for internal employee-facing chatbot, aligning with monthly sprint development and test cycles.
  • Gain knowledge in the intelligent automation industry as a whole by attending webinars and participating in preparation for company-wide forums, with opportunities to present.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program such as Computer Science, Data Analytics, or other related degree program.
  • Internship positions are located in Atlanta, GA; Cox Enterprises does not provide a housing allowance.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of (or interest in) Intelligent Process Automation or Artificial Intelligence technologies, preferably with some development experience
  • Ability to identify and understand problems/issues and develop solutions.
  • Detailed-oriented with good project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present to Process Owners and Mid-level management.
  • The ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences in a collaborative and constructive manner.
  • Ability to work effectively within time constraints and manage multiple commitments simultaneously.
  • Possess self-awareness, understanding strengths and areas where assistance may be needed. Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
