The Red Hat Global Campaigns team is looking for a creative, passionate individual who is ready to join us as a Campaign Account Segments Data Science Intern and learn within an innovative and dynamic company. What you will do

In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Understand various data sources (such as Salesforce.com, Eloqua, etc.) and data types captured for marketing campaigns
• Fully understand the structure and contents of marketing campaigns data, associated metadata, and account segmentation framework
• Cleanse the campaign data captured in different regions
• Run descriptive and inferential statistics on campaign analytics data
• Execute various data analysis functions such as selects, frequencies, and cross-tabs in statistical software (R or Python)
• Model the account segmentation logic to create lists of accounts to target under various marketing motions
• If necessary, identify new sources of data and methods to enhance data analysis
• Build visualizations, preferably in Tableau, to review and extract the account lists that could be consumed by the field marketing teams across the globe

What you will bring

• Ability to work full-time May-August
• Currently pursuing a PhD or master’s degree in a discipline related to statistics, computer science, or data analytics; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
