The Red Hat OpenShift Data Science team is looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source and Red Hat products during a summer internship to join us as a Junior Data Scientist. What you will do

• Work with the Red Hat OpenShift Data Science platform
• Learn about the integration of ISV software and other Red Hat cloud services with OpenShift Data Science
• Be responsible for helping to create tutorial and workshop material for our Red Hat OpenShift Data Science platform offering. This may include working on some python jupyter notebooks that would be required for new tutorials.

What you will bring

• Ability to work full-time May-August
• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field;
• Coding experience in Python
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Coding experience with Jupyter notebooks
• This internship is open to students who are graduating in 2024-25.

The following are considered a plus:

• Previous code contributions to or participation in open source projects or code samples on GitHub
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Data Science
