Your role at Clorox:

As a Data Scientist at The Clorox Company you will be responsible for helping build a new organization and advanced analytics group. You will be providing strong thought leadership, developing sophisticated models, and driving deep insights to enable accelerated growth. In your role you will closely work with our functional and business unit leaders to facilitate and enhance our knowledge set and strengthen our strategies.

In this role, you will:

• Lead model development and advanced analytics for the revenue management team
• Build user focused insights that are integrated into everyday business performance and processes
• Own the evaluation and predictive/prescriptive modeling of pricing changes, promotional efficiencies, and new product pricing to ensure we are driving long-term business growth
• Play a key leadership role by providing influence to project teams, and leadership teams to help the Company meet it’s business objectives.
• Continuous Improvement identification, recommendation, and implementation for areas of responsibilities. Support functional initiatives as needed

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Preferably in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related field)
• Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics or related Computer Science field preferred.
• 3+ years writing in R, Python, and SQL experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Time-Series models required.
• Experience productionizing models is preferred.
• Practice with A|B Testing, Discrete Choice Testing preferred.
• Practice in developing strong Feature Selection processes preferred.
• Familiarity with low-volume forecasting (DLM) preferred.
• Experience with MS Azure preferred.
• Previous experience in the CPG industry is preferred.
• Excellence in commercializing analytical products and delivering solution-based insights a plus.
• Strong story-telling and influencing skills
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Ability to clearly articulate the benefits of different model choices and statistical impacts of models to non-technical users.
• Energy and contagious excitement about driving insights into action.
