Our marketing programs span multiple channels (web, mobile, email, app, ecomm, iOT) and we work with a number of program partners to bring these programs to life.
Our marketing tech stack is evolving to support our ambitious goal, including a cloud-based data lake environment where Clorox’s Known Consumer Data (aka our first party data) is centrally stored and managed. Ensuring our KCD is easily and reliably accessible for the different marketing systems (e.g. ESP, CDP, CRM) and/or agency partners (both internal and external) is critical to the success of our mission.
This role serves as the Data Engineer and Data Architecture SME for Clorox’s KCD. This person is the lead engineer for end-to-end management and execution of our KCD. Primary responsibilities include:
This role supports the Marketing Function as part of the Marketing, Data & Technology Enablement (MDATE) team. S/he is comfortable working effectively across large matrixed organizations, can confidently create his/her own project plan and roadmap, and be able to clearly communicate with all types of stakeholders from the most technical to the most senior. S/he has a conceptual understanding of marketing programs and tactics, and how his/her work directly impacts these initiatives. The Data Engineer is comfortable working within most cloud-based marketing technology platforms and maintaining integrations with various Marketing Automation platforms (e.g. CDP, Email, DSP).
