Our Purpose

We at Music Tribe’s Advanced Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence (ASPAI) research team believe that delivering life-changing Innovative Networking Protocols in the Audio Domain to support Cloud-Based Audio Processing will empower our Customers as well as Music Tribe.?

We are looking for a talented networked audio research engineer to join our highly skilled Advanced Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence (ASPAI) research team. In the context of digital transformation of the music equipment and audio equipment industry, together we research and develop the audio processing features of the future, with direct impact across the whole range of Music Tribe products. This involves delivering against the company vision of developing audio processing and DSP services in the cloud.?

If you have a degree in computer science or electrical engineering, followed by two years or more of industry experience in the domain of network protocol development, e.g. cloud gaming or 5G, with a preference for audio applications, please join our team of talented individuals.?

Roles and Responsibilities

• Contribute to researching and developing the audio networking and other technical capabilities which transform DSP as a Service (DSPaaS) and cloud-based audio processing from vision to reality?
• R&D on internet audio transport protocols and architectures for DSP and audio processing in the cloud?
• R&D on packet loss concealment methods for real time audio transport through commodity internet?
• Be responsible for technical choices and solutions design, with focus on ease of use, scalability, maintainability and performance?
• Lay the foundations to prototype cloud-based audio processing methods that will be integrated across all brands in Music Tribe?
• Plan and manage the required resources?

Qualifications, Minimum

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or similar?
• A minimum of two years of industry experience?
• Highly experienced in networking protocols and cloud architectures?
• A demonstrated interest for audio applications?
• Personal attributes: strategic, structured, collaborative, resilient?

Qualifications, Preferred

• Experience with audio networking protocols: NDI, Dante, HyperMAC, AES50, RAVENNA etc.?
• Development of cloud gaming?
• Experience with real-time audio processing?
• Experience with Linux environments, Docker deployment and/or Cloud computing?
• Proven experience maintaining and improving cloud frameworks?
• Balanced view on architecture, performance and maintainability?
• Familiar with research methodology?

Tools

• C++, Python, TCP/UDP protocol stacks, audio transport protocol stacks (NDI, HyperMAC, AES50, RAVENNA etc.), Agile Methodologies, Git, Microsoft Devops
