As the Sr. Statistician, Research Science Japan, you will oversee the methodology, statistical modeling and quality of J.D. Power’s research in the Japan market. J.D. Power conducts independent market research that benchmarks customer satisfaction in a variety of industries. As part of the Research Science team, you will ensure that these benchmarking studies are scientifically sound and represent the latest approaches to customer research and analysis. You will support the scientific design of J.D. Power surveys and sample plans. Using J.D. Power best practices and internal standards, you will ensure data is cleaned appropriately, scored using J.D. Power algorithms and summarized in final client deliverables. Your team will work with the J.D. Power business units to determine the key drivers of customer satisfaction as well as other insights for our clients. Finally, you advise internal and external clients on survey and sample design as well as statistical modeling and its application.
