Job Description

We’re looking for a Cloud -Site Reliability Engineer who expects more from their career. Cloud Site Reliability Engineer ensures that dunnhumby’s cloud hosted services—both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems—have reliability and uptime appropriate to users' needs and a fast rate of improvement while keeping an ever-watchful eye on capacity and performance.

What we expect from you

• Experience in an software engineering role with strong experience in building and maintaining production systems on public or cloud (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS, openstack etc.)
• Strong experience on programming using Python, GoLang, etc.
• Sound Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Experience with Docker, Helm and Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Version Control, CI/CD, etc.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment while producing quality code
• Ability to analyse existing services and identify technical debt to work toward increasing sustainability
• Finds creative way to execute even when there is no historical context or known path forward
• Ability to assess the benefits, risks and success factors of potential applications
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills that encourage growth for more junior members

• Development(Python, GoLang, etc.) - Advanced
• IaaC (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) - Advanced
• Docker / Kubernetes - Advanced
• Version Control and CI/CD - Intermediate
• Network and Security - Intermediate
• Scripting(Bash, Shell, etc.) - Intermediate
• Prometheus / Grafana - Intermediate
