We’re looking for an Applied Data Scientist who expects more from their career. We are looking for Data Scientist / Data Analyst to join us working on huge data sets in retail sector. Our hiring is for unique position combining direct work on data science upgrades and development on one side and delivering insight and providing consultations on other side. Our new colleague should be working on development and automation of methods and code to evaluate marketing campaigns, use them to generate reports and present actionable insights to both internal and external clients. Support from the position should be focused mainly but not only on Hungarian market. We are keen to speak with anybody who can independently operate as data scientist (but still in close collaboration with others).

What we are looking for

• Analytical thinking and experience with statistics
• Skills in using relational databases (SQL)
• Programming skills (We are using Python / PySpark, but candidates with experience with R, Java etc. are also welcomed)
• Experience with Object-oriented Programming or excitement to learn it quickly
• Ability to use Git for version control, ability to use Unix Terminal etc.
• Willingness to explain complex data science results to non-analysts
• English and Hungarian language
