Job Description

Responsibilities

• Translate Business Data Requirements into Tech Specs
• Design and deliver Azure Data solutions
• Design and implement data models, data architecture, data streams and pipelines, integrations and transformations (ETL) pipelines and data migrations
• Documentation of solutions (e.g. data models, configurations, and setup).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience in systems and data engineering
• Proven hands on experience designing and developing with Azure storage technologies (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure SQL Database)
• Proven hands on experience designing and developing solutions using Azure data movement and transformation capabilities (Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Analytics, Data Bricks, Stream Analytics)
• Experience with publishing data solutions (as APIs or other means) using Azure app services, logic apps and Azure functions
• Experience in designing efficient and robust ETL/ELT workflows, schedulers, and event-based triggers
• Experience with Azure Active Directory security constructs and Azure RBAC

Desirable Skills

• Background with Data Science tools such as R, Python, and SAS is a plus
• Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Microsoft related certifications
