Job Description

You’ll be working as the technical enabler to ensure clients get value across all data services. You’ll be passionate about data, technology and architecture. You’ll love hands-on development and want to build scalable, high-performance solutions for our internal teams and clients. The right candidate for this position has a proven track record of building and architecting data infrastructure with high scale in mind, demonstrating an ability to lead small technical teams and can manage relationships with data, engineering, and wider business teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Direct an industry leading data engineering solution for our clients’ data
• Work with clients and internal teams to design and implement modern, scalable data solutions using a range of new and emerging technologies
• Increase the adoption of engineered solutions amongst the client base, by understanding their requirements and gaps in their capabilities.
• Develop a team, empower and enable them to be successful in their career progression.

Person Specification

• 8-10+ years’ experience in a data engineering/BI role
• Understand how a world class data capability can transform an organisation
• S./M.Sc./Phd Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience working with on-prem SQL Server stack and Azure services to build scalable/elastic data solutions
• Extremely Strong SQL skills and SSIS skills
• Extremely Strong Power BI including advanced DAX
• 5+ years' experience with C#, Python or other languages - solid coding techniques
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to document requirements, schemas, specifications and solutions
• Experience working with marketing and advertising data
