Role Overview

The role is responsible for supporting the decision making based on data analysis and the development of media performance insights from the various data assets. The individual within this role will work closely with the channel teams and will be responsible for delivering timely and effective reports and insights to the clients on both a regular and ad-hoc basis. The role will involve using hybrid measurement solutions like testing, data modelling and deterministic data analysis to understand the effectiveness of client’s digital marketing activities within wider marketing mix and help them develop reliable always-on measurement approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the team to define specific requirements for measurement approach and data analysis
  • Using statistical technics to analyse the data and develop business insights that drive future strategic media decisions
  • Design and support implementation of incrementality tests to understand the contribution of tested marketing activity to a wider marketing mix
  • Preparation and presentation of business focused reviews based on full data analysis and interpretation along with recommendations and proposed actions
  • Be part of a broader company wide effort to drive the development of new data analysis and modelling technic that would help the client address reporting gaps due to diminishing 3rd party cookies
  • The ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information, based on solid research
  • Management and mentorship of junior team members

Professional skills

  • R, Python, Matlabs, (min 3 years working experience)
  • Good understanding of statistical techniques & data modelling (e.g. regression, covariance analysis, inferential, predictive)
  • Prior experience with in-platform attribution solutions within Google Analytics, Adobe, Facebook etc
  • Good understanding of media industry including display programmatic, paid social, online video, affiliate and paid search
  • Web analytics tool experience E.g. Google Analytics OR Adobe Analytics. Including ability to produce insightful reports and pull ad hoc data reliably at pace
  • Prior experience on GCP (Google Cloud Platform), GMP (Google Marketing Platform) and Big Query
  • Good working knowledge of SQL, VBA and VB Script
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in Data Analysis or Data Science role.
