The role

As a senior data scientist, you will join a cross-functional team that designs, implements, and maintains the state of the art machine learning models to automate and optimize marketing, operations, logistics and customer experience. You will be turning innovative ideas into data-driven products, bringing these ideas to reality, and improving the experience of millions of customers around the globe.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Engineers, UX Designers, Researchers and Product Analysts
• Build prototypes into production-ready implementation
• Leading by example by translating business problems into quantitative terms and productionized models to presenting the results in clear and effective manner through visualization and prototyping
• Develop, launch and analyze A/B tests for new experimental features and business opportunities
• Manage complex projects involving other departments and position yourself as expert interface in your domain for the other teams
• Mentor junior colleagues within our data science team

What you’ll bring

• You have a strong understanding of the state of the art in machine learning methods and in-depth Data Science techniques for practical application
• You have significant experience in the tech industry
• You have great coding skills in Python and knowledge of data libraries such as sklearn, NLTK, and pandas.
• You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to listen and show empathy 
• You have previous experience with AWS
