Job Description

• Can lay down the foundation of a database and its architecture. Advanced SQL/PostgreSQL is an advantage
• Can construct dataset stored procedures that can help with data mining, modeling, and production.
• Perform ETL from Snowflake Data warehouse and Data lake by ingesting, transforming, and delivering data for deeper insights.
• Use of Python to code ETL frameworks, API interactions, automation, and data munging tasks such as reshaping, aggregating, joining disparate sources etc.
• Can build pipelines with AWS Glue jobs, Cloud watch, Amazon Redshift and other stack services.
• Provision data storage services while building data pipeline.
• Setting up environment for Pre-prod and prod as well as structure the UATs for deployment.
• Implement statistical methods to solve specific business problems utilizing code (Python, R, Scala, etc.)
• Utilize code (Python, R, Scala, SQL etc.) for analyzing data and building statistical and machine learning models and algorithms
• Directly contribute to the design and development of automated Demand forecasting systems
• Build internal customer-facing reporting tools (using our Carrier AWS platform) to provide insights and metrics which track forecast performance and explain variance
• Communicate verbally and in writing to business customers with various levels of technical knowledge, educate them about technical architecture, as well as sharing insights and recommendations
• Support decision making by providing requirements to develop analytic capabilities, platforms, pipelines and metrics and be able to troublshoot
