Job Description

Your mission ? Design platforms to process large volumes of data under the best conditions.

Within Data Intelligence South-East, your playing field extends to the following areas:

• Being the first link in the chain, you ensure that the data pipelines deployed are sufficiently secure and clear to be analyzed by Data Analysts and then transformed by Data Scientists; 

• You work on the different phases of POC and / or BI and Big Data projects, in particular in terms of architecture and data processing;

• You set up the processes of data collection, loading, exploration and verification of data of different types (structured or not), produced by multiple sources and design the most relevant data models by working closely with Data Scientists and Architects ; 

• You design and implement solutions industrialization processes using DevOps tools; 

• You document and present the work carried out during discussion time (REX, workshops, etc.) in our Agora space.

Qualifications

You are a graduate of an engineering school or a Technical-oriented Master (IS, MIAGE, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent) and with at least 2 years of experience in a consulting environment.

As part of various projects, you have participated in the definition of technological solutions to meet the data preparation needs (cleaning, enrichment, filtering, grouping, etc.), by mobilizing the following technical skills:

• Essential skills:

  • Programming languages: Python, Spark (Scala)
  • Cloud solutions: be familiar with one of the solutions among Amazon Web Services (AWS) , MS Azure
  • DevOps Tools : Jenkins, Ansible, Git
  • Virtualization ?: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Database: in-depth knowledge of SQL and RDBMS-type database management tools. Knowledge of other query technologies is a plus.

• Skills appreciated but not essential:

  • Using an ETL and a Dataviz solution
  • Understanding of Data Science methods and tools.

You are able to quickly gain skills in different business contexts, and able to mobilize your technical knowledge of the main tools to meet operational needs. You have a successful experience on a Big Data oriented project.

You like to bring pragmatic solutions to your interlocutors, demonstrate good listening skills and good interpersonal skills, and appreciate teamwork. Beyond purely technical skills, we are looking for a Consultant passionate about data issues, motivated by understanding the challenges and objectives of a project.
