Job Description

We are a data science teams whose goals is to transform CVS Health Member Experience and Call Servicing Effectiveness with innovative data science and cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence solutions.

We aim to:

• Diagnose and improve experience of millions of CVS members
• Create behavioral interventions in the call channel to improve their health outcomes
• Better enable the Call Center to meet the needs of CVS Health members needing our support
• Improve the efficiency and quality of Call Center Operations
• Continuously advance the level of our CVS Health data science sophistication and be top experts in the industry

A Senior Data Scientist in our team typically:

• Is an expert in developing and deploying cutting edge data science/Artificial Intelligence solutions for our domain, has a strong command of statistics and data science methods and tools
• Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals and most efficient solutions to meet their needs
• Has excellent coding skills and significant coding experience (preferably in Python and SQL) and can guide more junior data scientist to improve their coding
• Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industry
• Creates and deploy advanced data science and Artificial intelligent solutions, working with other data scientists, data engineers, and business partners
• Guides more junior data scientist, contributes to advancing the level of the data science organization and of data science in the industry
• Has strong data visualization skills and creates and deliver compelling presentations to our internal partners and leadership

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data scientist experience
• Superb programming skills in Python and SQL
• Hands on experience of analyzing analyze large data sets from multiple data sources with advanced tools and languages
• Proficiency in machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Interest in advanced data, cutting edge data science tools and techniques
• Advance knowledge/experience with NLP
• Proficiency in Data Visualization techniques for data science
• Strong problem solving and problem structuring skills
• Strong presentation skills – both written and verbal

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred
