Job Description

LinQuest is seeking a Data Science Intern to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. (Remote work location possible but less desirable)

This internship will span 8 -12 weeks during the summer (Flexible start/end dates) with the potential to go part time past this period.

This LinQtern will gain experience with Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Engineering in a team setting using python/R/SQL focused languages. This position is strong data and analytics focused, you will gain experience on our Air Force DART or Army ODASA(P) team.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with willingness to learn
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Required Experience:

• You must be a college student in good standing, enrolled in a 4 year university in your Junior or Senior year
• Pursing a Bachelors degree in (Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or equivalent)
• You must have a minimum college GPA requirement of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. If you are selected for an internship, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 after each completed semester/term
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required to be considered for this position

Preferred Experience:

• Software Development Languages such as (python/R/SQL)
• Previous software internship experience

Compensation:

• Starting hourly pay for this position is $24 an hour
